Every Month:
Optimist Club of Warrensburg
recognizes an outstanding teen each month. All grade levels are
eligible. If selected, you will be required to attend a dinner with one
or both parents/guardians. You will receive a plaque and check for $50.
This is a great honor/award that you can list on scholarship
applications. Stop by and pick up an application today in the
Counseling Office!

Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Scholarship-Deadline
June 15-Must be enrolled in a career or technical degree/certificate
granting program in Fall 2017 that will lead to employment, demonstrate

The Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE) offers
information about state scholarship, grant and loan opportunities as
well as information about colleges and college programs. Go to: http://www.dhe.mo.gov/ppc/grants/ .
American Legion Scholarships are available online at www.missourilegion.org.
Basic criteria for scholarship awards are as follows: Missouri
resident, under the age of 21, unmarried and a descendant of a veteran
with at least ninety days active service in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air
Force, Marines or Coast Guard, who received an Honorable Discharge for
such service. Please go to the website for more criteria and information
on the scholarships.
Scholarship opportunities for students in Missouri:
- $5k scholarship for high school seniors
- students need to write a 500 word essay about an African American who
inspires them. ALL high school seniors are eligible. To learn more go

The Dairy Scholars Program: What
a great opportunity for your students! The Missouri Agriculture and
Small Business Development Authority are offering up to 80 scholarships
of $5000 each to students pursing a two or four year agriculture
