1)  During academy, each 6 weeks prior to a National ACT Test Date, get ACT prep instruction by signing up in Mrs. King's office for the core area of interest. Sign up sheets on Mrs. King's desk.

2) Get ACT Prep in the WHS Library with Mrs. Houk. Come to the PC lab sometime during Academy to setup a Learning Express Library Account. Mrs. Houk will show you how to get to the site and login, then you may begin practice testing. Students would need to setup an account at school, but after that they could login from any location. This subscription database includes the following testing opportunities and many others:

CLEP Preparation
CUNY Skills Assessment Tests Preparation
PSAT/NMSQT Preparation
SAT Preparation

  • PSAT Test date:is October 19, 2016. The cost is $15. PSAT/NMSQT scores of junior level students are the criteria used to dtermine National Merit Scholarship finalists. For more information on the National Merit Scholarship qualifying process, go to: http://www.nationalmerit.org/entering.php
    Sophomores or juniors sign up & pay in the Counseling Office.
